your dream music festival…and make it 3D. this project features the creation, fabrication, and installation of a three-dimensional expressive typographic poster for a two-day music festival. the concept behind this festival revolves around the experience of being transformed through music. metamorphosis, and its mascot-the butterfly-reflect the transformative experience of becoming something new. the design aesthetic of contrasting colors and recognizable motifs serve to further the theme as well as the featured artists. the artists performing seek to provide a transformative experience with their music and value the gift of music as something that should be communal and experienced.
